Announcing the formation of Truth on Tour: Artists Against the Persecution of Falun Gong, and the release of the compilation album Truth On Tour [Volume #1]

Listen to the CD Now

In July of 1999, China’s communist regime began a brutal campaign of persecution against the peaceful spiritual practice of Falun Gong. The regime has targeted millions of its own citizens, using brainwashing camps, torture, rape, murder, and the unspeakable institution of forced organ harvesting on live practitioners. The persecution of Falun Gong is a direct assault on a human being’s fundamental right to freedom of belief, and ranks as one of the greatest human rights crimes in modern history. It continues to this day.

Artists from around the world, of different backgrounds, genres and media, have come together to form Truth on Tour: Artists Against the Persecution of Falun Gong. Truth on Tour exposes the truth of this injustice, while supporting Falun Gong’s principles of Truth, Compassion and Forbearance.

Truth on Tour, a non-profit organization, announces the release of our first project, the compilation album Truth on Tour (Volume #1).

Our Songs Tell Their Story

From Australia, pop artist Belle’s ‘Be The Voice’ tells us it’s time we stand for the persecuted Falun Gong: “These beautiful people they’ve suffered so long | Tortured for practicing Falun Gong | It’s time for the world, it’s time for the world to stand up”

DC Rap artists Rise Ascend and Direction’s ‘Behind the Wall’ exposes the CCP’s coverup of atrocities, including the horrific practice of forced organ harvesting: “The red evil regime’s | Murders they try to hide | Daughters, mothers and wives | Sons, fathers and husbands | They kill them and sell their organs like it is nothing”

From Missouri, father and daughter folk artists Randall and Sara Effner’s song ‘Plum Blossoms in the Snow’ tells the story of practitioner Jane Dai and her daughter Fadu. Jane’s husband was murdered in China in 2001 after appealing to the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong: “A refugee from China, with her daughter in her arms | Steadfast in days so bleak and nights so long | Pays tribute to her husband and tells how he came to harm | Murdered ’cause he practiced Falun Gong.”

LA artist/producer Kevin Dippold’s rock song ‘Rally The World’ tells us: “This is our time | This is our fight”, as we are “Unified, On One Side, Unstoppable!”

Guyana’s Malcolm Wilson, with his reggae-influenced style, reminds us of the power to implement change in his uplifting song ‘Righteous Generation’: “We the positive generation | Stand for all nations | There’s no trials or tribulations … Give us the power to face the day”

Canadian artist Jesse Laine’s song ‘Truth Is Tall’ challenges the CCP’s lies: “Truth is tall, stayed and unchanged | By lies, misdeeds, deceit and defame | So hear the call, feed the hope, see the blame | And free Falun Gong, free us all from this reign”

Truth On Tour has come together with one voice, and one mission: to expose and end this persecution.
